Read about deliveryHow are Formbo buildings delivered?
Your building arrives by lorry and is unloaded using a tail lift and pallet truck, a crane or a truck-mounted forklift. We will tell you which method applies to your order before delivery.
Read about deliveryHow large is the delivery vehicle?
The size depends on the delivery method. A tail-lift lorry may be around 13 metres long, 2.75 metres wide and 4.5 metres high, weighing up to 26 tonnes. A crane lorry or lorry with a truck-mounted forklift may be around 25 metres long, with the same width and height, weighing up to 44 tonnes. We will tell you which vehicle to expect before delivery.
Read about deliveryWhat should I prepare for unloading?
Check that the access road is wide enough and can support the delivery vehicle. There must also be sufficient overhead clearance and turning space. Look for branches, overhead cables, walls and fences that could obstruct access. For a tail-lift delivery, the pallet truck needs a hard, level, even surface to roll on. Loose gravel, uneven ground or a steep slope can make unloading difficult. If you are unsure about the surface, contact us so we can review the conditions together.
Read about deliveryWhere will the delivery be unloaded?
We unload as close to your property as the access route and site conditions allow. You and the driver agree on the unloading point, and the driver decides where unloading is safe. Carrying goods inside or moving them further across the property is included only if agreed in writing.
Read about deliveryDo I need to be there for delivery?
Yes, either you or someone you have appointed must be there to receive the delivery as agreed. Let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend. If no one can receive the goods at the agreed time, you may need to pay reasonable costs for return transport or redelivery.
Read about deliveryCan I choose a delivery date or time?
We agree on a suitable delivery week. The carrier contacts you before delivery to plan and confirm the delivery day. A specific date or time slot applies only once confirmed. Contact us if you would like a later delivery week or have particular site requirements.
Contact usWhat happens if delivery cannot be completed?
Contact us promptly so we can plan the next step together. Extra charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, no one being available to receive it, or access and unloading conditions that do not meet the requirements provided. These may cover return transport, another vehicle, extra work or redelivery. Any charge will reflect the actual and reasonable costs.

Contact us as soon as possible and we will help you. If delivery is delayed, we will provide an updated delivery estimate when we have more information. Photograph any visible transport damage and, where possible, note it on the delivery note. Keep the labels and packaging.
